Philosophy

In Kinder Town, our philosophy is to provide our children with an enviroment in which they can feel safe and just like a second home, and at the same time, help them develop motor skills s well as an academic education so that as they mature they will be well equipped to start elementary school. Our purpose in the academic area will be to teach reading, writing and numbers at an age appropriate level as well as Spanish as a second language because at this age, there is a large window of opportunity to learn new languages. The children will learn under a pleasant and playful environment. At Kinder Town, we will purposely not use computers in the curriculum and will only have one television set to avoid having the children be in front of a screen and encourage social interaction. Also, we will encourage artistic expression as well as listening skills through activities such as group story reading time and also presenting them with puppet shows.
